To support us in growing our business, we are now recruiting an Environmental Consultant to support our Permitting and Planning department. Your new role

In your role as an Environmental Consultant, you will be a crucial part of Andrea’s team – helping them provide expert advice to clients and achieve successful environmental permitting and planning applications. Your keen interest in environmental issues and legislation will help your clients maintain their compliance and achieve their sustainable goals. Furthermore, you will be directly liaising and problem-solving with the authorities, Environment Agency, Health and Safety Executive and Local Authority Officers. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be building relationships with businesses and organisations and helping them to reach their environmental and sustainability goals.

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Degree or recognised higher qualification in an environmental discipline.
  • Three years of experience within the waste and resources sector.
  • Full clean driving licence

Desired

  • MSc in an environmental management or equivalent discipline.
  • Extended practical experience in waste, construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Some regulatory experience.
  • Membership of CIWM, IEMA or relevant professional body.
