About Hanh
Hanh Huynh is an Environmental and Social (E&S) Consultant based in the Wiser Environment Vietnam office. Thanks to her direct involvement in many projects at the of time joining Wiser Environment, and before that, Hanh has good relevant experiences in working experiences in social performance management.
Notable Projects
Development of EHS Management System
Hanh and the team at Wiser Environment were enlisted to help Redsun develop and manage an environmental and social management system (ESMS). The aim of this project was to use our independent knowledge and experience to develop an ESMS that enables a safe construction environment for the rooftop solar project.
Environmental Health & Safety Due Diligence
After initial scoping, Hanh and the team prepared to complete two objectives: (i) assess the Binh Duong plant’s environmental compliance with Vietnam EHS legislation and (ii) research how the potential expansion could impact compliance with local law, especially in terms of how it could affect nearby residential properties.
Development of ESIA for several wind power projects in Vietnam, including Phu Dien Wind farms, Gelex Huong Linh, and Gelex Huong Phung in Quang Tri Province (2020), Scatec Soc Trang Wind Farm in Soc Trang Province (2020), involved in conducting social surveys for and stakeholder engagement to develop Social Baseline, Social Impact Assessment, and several social management plans including Livelihood Restoration Plan and Community Development Plan for the projects.
