This unique opportunity provides a varied work role within a range of industries. Most importantly, you will have knowledge of environmental matters and implementing management systems to a high level of skill and quality.

The main purpose of the role is to support the management system team in implementing, auditing, and managing integrated management systems.  Secondly, you will provide environmental advice for our Vietnam based clients. Thirdly, the successful candidate will assist in further developing the business in Vietnam. There are also further opportunities to support other aspects of our business.

The role will suit a self-motivated, ambitious person. About our next Vietnam environmental consultant

You will have at least three years’ experience in a practical role that has involved assessment of environmental risk. In addition, you will be proficient in the writing and implementation of processes and procedures. During your work, you will have communicated with a range of people including regulatory authorities. You will possess a good knowledge of environmental legislation.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the experience and knowledge in an industrial role as well as having the aptitude to understand and apply information to provide our clients with an excellent service.  You will be proficient in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.

The EA has updated its odour management plan guidance

The EA has updated its odour management plan guidance. Overall, the guidance outlines how operators must control and monitor emissions from their activities that may cause pollution.

Changes include clarifications regarding when the EA will want an odour management plan. They may request one during pre-application, determination, variation or at any point during the lifetime of your permit.

Also, Materials recycling and handle odorous inputs or reject streams and Intensive Farming have been added to the list of Activities that require an odour management plan.
