Wiser Environment has recently supported leading Barking-based waste company Edwards Recycling Limited in maintaining their ISO 14001 accreditation at a recent BSI external audit.
Wiser originally assisted Edwards’ to implement a comprehensive business management system that was certified to ISO 14001 in 2011. Since this date, Wiser has provided help with maintaining, updating and auditing the system to ensure that certification is maintained during the annual surveillance and triannual recertification audits. This work most recently included drawing up procedures and training staff in sampling techniques to ensure compliance with the requirements of the ‘MF Regulations’.
In association to the work related to the management system, Wiser Environment also provides Edwards with practical advice on compliance with all environmental legislation including waste, environmental permitting and planning.
