Wiser Environment has been working closely with award-winning clean technology company bio-bean Limited helping the company to meets its compliance obligations and set best practice.
bio-bean is the first company in the world to industrialise the process of recycling waste coffee grounds into advanced biofuels and in the near future, biochemicals. Since 2014, Wiser Environment has assisted bio-bean in complying with applicable waste and wider environmental legislation.
Wiser Environment has supported bio-bean in gaining an Installation Permit for their advanced biofuel demonstration facility in Alconbury (the first of its kind in the world), requiring comprehensive pre-application and post-application liaison with the Environment Agency.
