Your new role

In your role as a Health Safety & Environmental Specialist – you will be central to the provision of hands-on health, safety, environment and quality advice and guidance across multiple client bases and service streams.

To help you confidently adapt and problem-solve, we have established various support teams. Among others – these include compliance, health and safety, administration and sales. Together, we work as a team to reach our goals. In addition to your support crew, you will also have access to a variety of software and systems. Asana, MyCompliance and PeopleHR to name but a few. All are designed with the goal of assisting you in project management, compliance and monitoring.

Day-to-day, you will be using our support systems to help you work towards your goals. Some of the tasks you will be undertaking as a Health Safety & Environmental Specialist will include:

  • Offer extensive hands-on HSEQ support, guidance and advice across multiple client bases and service streams.
  • Demonstrate exemplary standards of professionalism in client communications, service delivery and work quality.
  • Launch and embed Integrated Management Systems that will ensure the long-term success and sustainability of our clients.
  • Assist SMEs and large organisations in understanding their legislative obligations, evaluating the level of compliance they meet and auditing their performance.

Legislation

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Degree or recognised higher qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Hold an intricate knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Background of implementing management systems to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 standards.
  • Exceptional document writing skills and computer literacy.
  • Full UK driving licence

Desired

  • Further environmental, auditing or training qualifications.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience in high-risk job roles and dangerous industries.
