Notable Project
Research on Barton Court 1 & 2
Okelani carried out desk-based research on Barton Court 1 & 2 (old Inert landfill sites and waste transfer systems). She identified previous and potential risks, sources of contamination, pathways and receptors. She analysed and interpreted the data to identify trends in results on gas, ground water and leachate monitoring results to highlight periods of compliance or noncompliance with the Environment Agency’s requirements for permit surrender. Her duties included providing ideas for alternative land use after permit surrender and writing a detailed technical review report on Barton Court 1 & 2.
