DCLG publishes new National Planning Policy for Waste

The new National Planning Policy for Waste has been published by the Department for Communities and Local Government replacing Planning Policy Statement 10 (PPS10).

This document sets out detailed waste planning policies and is to be read in conjunction with the National Planning Policy Framework, the Waste Management Plan for England and National Policy Statements for Waste Water and Hazardous Waste. This document should be considered by local planning authorities and applicants when planning all new waste management developments.
